మార్చి 20న అంతర్జాతీయ సంతోష దినోత్సవాన్ని పురస్కరించుకొని ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితికి చెందిన సస్టెయినబల్ డెవలప్‌మెంట్ సొల్యూషన్స్ నెట్‌వర్క్ (ఎస్‌డీఎస్‌ఎన్) ప్రపంచ సంతోష నివేదిక-2018ను విడుదల చేసింది. ఆదాయం, ప్రజల ఆరోగ్య జీవనం, సామాజిక సామరస్యం, స్వేచ్ఛ, నమ్మకం, ఔదార్యం, తక్కువ అవినీతి తదితర అంశాలను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకుని 156 దేశాలతో కూడిన జాబితాను రూపొందించింది. అత్యంత సంతోషకరమైన దేశంగా ఫిన్లాండ్ అగ్రస్థానంలో నిలిచింది. ఆ తర్వాతి స్థానాల్లో నార్వే, డెన్మార్క్, ఐస్‌లాండ్, స్విట్జర్లాండ్, నెదర్లాండ్, కెనడా, న్యూజిలాండ్, స్వీడన్, ఆస్ట్రేలియా ఉన్నాయి. గతేడాది నార్వే అగ్ర స్థానంలో ఉంది. చిట్టచివరి స్థానంలో (156వ స్థానం) బురుండి నిలిచింది. ఇక భారత్ 133వ స్థానంలో నిలిచింది. గతేడాది ర్యాంకు 128. పొరుగు దేశాలైన పాకిస్థాన్ 75, చైనా 86, భూటాన్ 97, నేపాల్ 101, బంగ్లాదేశ్ 115, శ్రీలంక 116, ఆఫ్ఘనిస్థాన్ 145వ స్థానంలో ఉన్నాయి. 155వ స్థానం సెంట్రల్ ఆఫ్రికన్ రిపబ్లిక్, 154వ స్థానం దక్షిణ సూడాన్, 153వ స్థానం టాంజానియా, 152వ స్థానం యెమెన్, 151వ స్థానంలో రువాండా ఉన్నాయి.
