Force : A pull or a push or both.
Push : Moving an object forward.
Pull : Moving an object backward.
Contact force : Force which results when there is a direct physical contact between two interacting objects.
Force at a distance : Force which occurs without any physical contact between two objects.
Field : Space around the object where the force is felt.
Friction : The resisting force to movement of an object.
Gravity : The earth's pulling force on any object.
Magnetic force : Attraction or repulsion of a magnet.
Electrostatic forces : The forces exerted by a charged body on another body (either charged or uncharged)
Net force : The algebraic sum of all the forces acting on an object.
Magnitude : Value.
Equilibrium : Stability of an object.
Normal force : The force acting perpendicular to the movement of the object.
Tension: It is a feeling of tightness in a rope or a string etc.
State of motion: Movement of a body.
Pressure: Force acting on a unit surface area.
Free body diagram: The line diagram showing all the forces acting on an object at a particular instant.
Gravitational force: Force of attraction between two bodies in the universe.
Muscular force: The force exerted by our body muscles.
