Parts of Speech in English

• The parts of speech explain how a word is used in a sentence.
• ఒక వాక్యములో ఒక పదము ఎలా ఉపయోగపడుతుందో parts of speech.
• There are eight parts of speech in English.

They are -

1. Nouns
2. Pronouns, 
3. Adjectives, 
4. Verbs, 
5. Adverbs,
6. Prepositions, 
7. Conjunctions
8. Interjections.

1. Noun(నామవాచకం) : 

• A noun is a word used to indicate the names of persons, things, places, rivers, seas. 
• Noun అనేది మనుష్యుల, జంతువులు, వస్తువుల, ప్రదేశముల, పేర్లను సూచిస్తుంది.
• Eg: Sathvik, pencil, Singitham, Hyderabad

Kinds of Noun(నామవాచకం - 5 రకాలు)

a) Common Noun 

b) Proper Noun

c) Material Noun

d) Collective Noun

e) Abstract Noun 

a) Common Noun: 

A noun which used to indicate the race of persons, places, things, వస్తువుల, ప్రదేశముల జాతిని ఉద్దేశించి తెలిపేవి.

Eg: Persons: Boy, Girl, Man, Woman Places Town, City, Village, Country

Things : Pen, Pencil, Table

b) Proper Noun: A noun which used to indicate persons, places, things.... particularly, వస్తువులను, ప్రదేశములను, ఫలానా అని ప్రత్యేకంగా పేర్కొనే nouns ను Proper Nouns

Eg: Persons: Ravi, Srikar, Prasad

Places: Vijayawada, Hyderabad Things: Reynolds pen, Natraj pencil, Bajaj fan

Note : Proper Noun ని వ్రాసేటప్పుడు మొదటి అక్షరం Capital letter వ్రాయాలి.
